Most installs are completed within 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the vehicle and number of windows. A full car typically takes 2–3 hours. Front two windows only can often be done in under an hour.
Keep your windows up for at least 3–5 days after installation to allow the film to fully cure. Rolling them down too soon can cause the edges to peel or lift. Cure time may be slightly longer in cooler weather.
Yes, with restrictions. California law requires front side windows to allow more than 70% of light in. Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be any darkness. The front windshield can only have a sun strip above the AS-1 line. We always advise customers on legal options.
Ceramic film is our top-of-the-line option — highest heat rejection (up to 88% IR block), crystal-clear optical quality, and lifetime warranty. Carbon film is a great value option with a rich matte appearance, backed by a 5-year warranty. We recommend ceramic for most customers.
No. Both our ceramic and carbon films are non-metallic, which means they will not interfere with GPS, cell phone signals, satellite radio, or any other electronic signals.
Yes! We are a fully mobile service. We come to your home, workplace, or any convenient location throughout Northern California. You don't need to drop your car off anywhere.
After the 3–5 day curing period, clean with a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free window cleaner. Avoid ammonia — it degrades the film over time. Do not use abrasive scrubbers. Avoid cleaning the inside of your windows for the first 2 weeks post-install.
Ceramic film installs carry a lifetime warranty covering peeling, bubbling, cracking, and color change. Carbon film carries a 5-year warranty for the same defects. Warranty does not cover physical scratches or rolling windows down before curing is complete.
